ARCH builds on the success of QCP’s Undergraduate Bridging Program in 2013 and 2014, and will showcase and connect the work of Australian and international emerging photo media artists who are currently studying photo media at a higher learning institution. The program aims to give an insight into work currently being produced by photo media undergraduates internationally and in Australia.
The inaugural program is connecting 10 photo-media artists each from CalArts (Los Angeles, USA) and VCA (Melbourne, Australia) in an exchange exhibition under the theme Habitats, to be exhibited end of September at the two institutions.
VCA students include Olga Bennett, Ruben Bull-Milne, Lauren Dunn, Alden Epp, Joe Gentry, Chen-Yang (Nik) Lee, Tori Lill, Andrew Read, Kenneth Suico and Max Thomas.
CalArts students include Julie Cabral, Darcy Haylor, Bingyang (Brian) Liu, Deangelo Christian, Amanda Majors, Joel Orozco, Xanthe Pajarillo, Moises Hernandez, Yanel Salazar, and Kadi Lee.
